I live in a beautiful place. This, I know.
Sometimes, it’s nice to get out there an see other beautiful places- so when I had the opportunity to join my aunt for an outing to New Mexico for a quick there and back, I couldn’t say no.
We spend time in Albuquerque and Sante Fe and wished we had more time to explore more of the wilds in the area. Nevertheless, we spent as much time enjoying the New Mexican lifestyle as possible.
We visited the Petroglyph National Monument before heading up to Sante Fe. It was a beautiful early winter weekend with plenty of sunshine. These PNW girls were in desperate need of some Vitamin D, albeit a crisp day.
The food was great, art game was strong, and I had to resist every urge to buy turquoise and leather everything. Next time, it is out to venture in the mountains and hot springs.
I’ve been lucky to photograph some really fun Seniors this year! Taylor was no exception. This gal knew how to take her photo session at Opera Alley in Tacoma to a new level. Lots of fun, some laughter, and natural beauty was shining through for the whole session. I wish Taylor nothing but the best on her year ahead!
Senior Year is nearly finished for many Pacific Northwest high school students.
I had the pleasure of working with Hikaru, a Senior from Packwood HS and exchange student from Japan. We took to the Washington State Capitol for this photo session on a clear and very brisk morning. The flowers were in full spring bloom.
Hikaru had the opportunity to make her journey to the US through a high school exchange. She has been enjoying the adventure so far and will return to Japan in the summer to finish out another year of school before deciding on college. This very bright young woman will do great in whatever she does- the adventure continues! Good Luck to you Hikaru!
