Taylor- Puyallup High School Class of 2016

I’ve been lucky to photograph some really fun Seniors this year! Taylor was no exception.  This gal knew how to take her photo session at Opera Alley in Tacoma to a new level. Lots of fun, some laughter, and natural beauty was shining through for the whole session. I wish Taylor nothing but the best on her year ahead!

Hattie- Class of 2015

This Senior Portrait Session was extra sentimental for me, since Hattie is like a little sister. You may recognize her from many photo sessions I have done with her family at Ritter Farms.  I remember her as a baby, as a sweet little girl, and have had a great getting to know her as the amazing young woman that she is. This girl is going places. When she graduates from Cle Elum-Roslyn High School she is off to study at the Evergreen State College– here in Olympia and the family could not be more excited for her.  She has been in 4H as a champion, an athlete, an amazing friend, and a gentle soul off to do more great things!

We took to Snoqualmie for this senior session- a good halfway point for both of us. The weather was perfect, we braved crowds, walked a thin line on a few laws, and enjoyed the afternoon together.  Wishing Hattie all the best in her adventures ahead!

Senior Hikaru Class of 2015

Senior Year is nearly finished for many Pacific Northwest high school students.

I had the pleasure of working with Hikaru, a Senior from Packwood HS and exchange student from Japan. We took to the Washington State Capitol for this photo session on a clear and very brisk morning. The flowers were in full spring bloom.

Hikaru had the opportunity to make her journey to the US through a high school exchange. She has been enjoying the adventure so far and will return to Japan in the summer to finish out another year of school before deciding on college.  This very bright young woman will do great in whatever she does- the adventure continues!  Good Luck to you Hikaru!

Katelyn- Class of 2015 Timberline High School

Thanks to Katelyn and her Mom & Dad, we spent a crisp fall evening-luckily free of rain- wandering their beautiful property just outside of town.

There was endless gorgeous greenery, a pond or two, mud, cows and a couple tractors.  Katelyn is a sweet and super silly kind of gal, so we kept it light until we actually had NO daylight. Time flies when you’re having fun!

Wishing Katelyn a successful Senior year and a glowing future ahead!

Mackenzie- Timberline High School Class of 2015

I spent the morning with this great guy in the downtown streets of Olympia.  The bright colors we found throughout the alleys were a perfect match for his personal style.  As the oldest of his family, his mom came along for the fun so we snapped a few of them together. It will be the start of a tradition according to Mackenzie’s Mom. Mackenzie is a senior at Timberline HS and has his sights on furthering his education after he graduates.

Wishing him the best in his bright future!

Merrik- Capital High School Class of 2015

It is the season for senior photos!

This is my favorite time of year because I have the honor to spend my photography time working with new Seniors.  This week I took to my favorite park and had the opportunity to work with Merrik, a senior at Capital High School in Olympia.  He is a cross-country runner who knows his way around the drums- not to mention one of the most charming smiles around. Merrik has a Senior year full of adventure to look forward to and a great future ahead.

Tihalish- Yelm High School Class of 2015

It is that time of year- everyone is back to school.  This includes the class of 2015!

I was lucky enough to get a chance to take photos for my first Class of 2015 Senior this week- Tihalish. A football man with a successful future pointed in the direction of the sciences, this guy has a lot of great things ahead of him.  Wishing him only the best in last year of high school ahead!

Go Tornadoes!
