I’ve taken photos for this dear family several times in the past- it helps that we’ve known each other for a decade. When Krista advised me a photo session would be in order to help announce a new addition, I jumped at the idea! She’ll be a lucky mom to another beautiful baby boy and surrounded by her guys- Chris and Jake! We used the Sugar Beet Factory as our backdrop and had a lot of fun. Jake will be an amazing big brother, I just know it. Congratulations to you all!
I have been very lucky to have met some really amazing people by way of photography.
I met the two wonderful people below a few years ago through a mutual friend’s referral. I was honored to photograph their wedding and later take photos of their new baby. Baby C has been growing and is turning two. We spent a beautiful fall morning playing at Priest Point Park. After some warming up, I had a chance to really capture the beautiful smile of this bright and beaming little girl.
I love a family photo shoot. I love more when I get a chance to include furry children in the mix. As a fellow dog rescuers and newlyweds, Erica and Kyle, love their kids- Andy and Bella. Both rescued, it is more than clear that they live the good life. They were so much fun to work with- happy and in love. And for the record, Bella managed to chew through her leash in record time when it was time for Kyle and Erica to get a few photos solo. These guys were a blast.
Twins! When this mom-to-be contacted me, I was pleasantly surprised to hear they are expecting twin girls! We spent the morning at Wapato Park in Tacoma, Washington. It was a perfect place for photos with a large white pergola, walking trails, and green grass. Congratulations to this sweet family!
My favorite little family approached me about a quick and very cold November photoshoot in Tacoma, Washington as a gift to their mom & dad. I immediately jumped at the opportunity. I used my favorite Tacoma backdrop and we were set, albeit very cold. It is always fun to take photos of friends and to know it would make a mother cry of happiness, made it that much more special. The kids gave her the portraits on Christmas, and word on the street is that she cried some pretty happy tears. Mission accomplished
