Braving the Cold

This family is always lucky to have a sunny day, but it is ALWAYS cold for their photo session.  This year we chose the Tacoma Glass Museum as a backdrop. Even with the freezing temperatures, we managed to have fun and capture another memory!

Grandmother’s Pride & Joy

I’ve known my favorite family with the big red barn for many, many years. Many of those years were without a photo of everyone at the same time in the same place.

When asked by Grandma Kathy to take photos of the many kids who have called the family property home, I was happy to get the camera out and capture a moment in time for her.  It was a cold and very windy day- and everyone did their part to make it a fun and QUICK photo session.  I see why there is so much of a Grandmother’s Pride & Joy in these photos as each grandchild brings laughter and happiness to her in their own way.

Toby and His People

There is nothing that brings more warmth in my heart than a loving dog.  Toby is just that.  His parents- Tammy and Jarrod decided to have a photo session featuring their favorite goofy fur kid.  We managed to have a great time on a really beautiful fall morning out on the family farm.  Toby managed to stay out of the water and puddles and be the star of the show. Good Boy Toby.

Dance the Night Away

I was honored when I got the call to take photos for 6 fantastic High School students for Tumwater High School’s Homecoming Dance. This group was so much fun. They looked fabulous and were ready to have an incredible night on the town.  Laughter and shivers were the theme of the evening as it was a cold and cloudy day and they were all eager to start their fun.  Word is that they had a really great time at the dance. I had a really great time working with all of them!

Fresh Faces

Some of the best clients I have are upcoming Seniors! I love Senior shoots because they are usually a bit spontaneous and always fun.  I spend the afternoon with Maya and Mily in downtown Olympia for their Senior Portraits. The Painted Plate is always a perfect stop for ice cream, so we couldn’t resist the opportunity for sweets and smiles.

These girls have been friends throughout their  High School years, and have personalities that are so complimentary of each other- Loved spending the afternoon with them. Wishing them only he best for their Senior year.

Bright Future

Fall is upon us, which of course means lots of Senior Portrait Sessions.

Jackson is a Senior at Olympia High School- and athlete, musician, artist, and all around great guy. As most high school seniors this time of year, he had a big day planned including a football game, but managed to squeeze a short photo session in at Tumwater Falls.  He’s looking to the future and I can tell it will be bright! Best of luck this year Jackson!

Love Found

I met Lupe through mutual friends about 4 years ago. She’s always been so full of life and joy.  I know now part of the reason why.  She and Roger met in Mexico have been married for several years now, and its so clear that they are in love. I was lucky enough to spend an hour with them capturing the fun and affection they share.
